Nabros at Windergy India 2026: End-to-End Wind Component Logistics and a Strategic Partnership with Sangreen

Windergy India 2026 concluded on 9 October at Chennai Trade Centre. Nabros used the three days to show how a wind turbine generator (WTG) moves from factory gate to foundation: every component in the chain, the route engineering behind each movement, and the safety systems that run at the loading point. At the show, Nabros also formalised a strategic logistics partnership with Sangreen Future Renewables.

Windergy India 2026: where the sector met to plan delivery

Windergy India 2026 was the 8th edition of the fair, organised by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) and PDA Ventures. It combined a three-day trade fair with a two-day conference at Chennai Trade Centre from 7 to 9 October. Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi inaugurated the exhibition on 8 October, and OEMs, component manufacturers, EPC firms and developers came together under one roof.

The timing gave the show its weight. India’s installed wind capacity stood at 59.20 GW on 30 September 2026, according to the Minister’s address, and the country added a record 6.05 GW in FY2025-26. The 100 GW target for 2030 requires roughly 10 GW a year, which puts delivery timelines at the centre of every project plan.

For Nabros, that made Windergy the right place to be. The team took Booth N1303 in Hall 1 to meet the people who plan, build and supply wind projects, to hear what the next phase of projects will need, and to continue working relationships with teams across the sector.

Strategic partnership with Sangreen Future Renewables

At Windergy, Nabros and Sangreen Future Renewables formalised a strategic logistics partnership. Nabros now handles 100% of Sangreen’s logistics and inter-carting package, covering blades, towers, nacelles and hubs from factory gate to turbine foundation.

Sangreen delivers end-to-end wind EPC solutions across India and is a subsidiary of Sanghvi Movers Limited. Nabros has worked on Sangreen’s sites for years, moving over-dimensional wind cargo across highways, villages and difficult terrain. The agreement extends that working relationship to the full package.

Inter-carting is the movement within the project site, from the storage yard to each turbine location. For Sangreen’s projects, transport, inter-carting and erection now run as one integrated chain, with fewer handovers, faster turnarounds and uniform safety standards.

The stand: built for technical discussion

The stand was designed around project-level conversation. A lounge area and a discussion cabin gave visitors space to work through requirements, a coffee corner kept the floor open between meetings, and a brand film played on the LED display.

Posters across the stand set out the same record in sequence: the client roster, the fleet, route survey and modification, safety systems and the 90.2-metre blade movement. A visitor could read the record before the conversation began.

Strengthening India's wind energy ecosystem

Windergy India 2026 reflected a sector moving from capacity targets to execution at scale. For developers, OEMs and EPC teams planning against the 100 GW target, three points follow from what Nabros presented:

  • Equipment is matched to the component. Blades, towers, hubs and nacelles each have their own constraint, and each has its own trailer configuration.
  • Routes are engineered before movement. Surprises are found on paper, not on the road.
  • Transport and inter-carting can sit with one partner. That removes handovers between the factory gate and the turbine foundation.

For Nabros, participation followed a direction set over 55+ years: equipment engineered for each component, routes assessed before movement, and partnerships that bring transport and erection into one chain. The Sangreen agreement is the most direct expression of that in this edition.

Exhibitions are checkpoints. Windergy offered a point to assess that position against the sector’s current requirements, and to continue conversations with OEM, EPC and developer teams now moving into project planning.
